Anyone whose mother is a Moroccan national can apply for a certificate of Moroccan nationality.
The applicant's file must contain the following documents:
- A copy of the mother's Moroccan national identity card;
- A full copy of the mother's birth certificate (in Morocco);
- The marriage certificate of the applicant's parents or any other document (Acknowledgement or other) proving the applicant's relationship to the biological father;
- A full copy of the applicant's birth certificate;
- The applicant's national identity card;
- 4 Photos of the applicant.
If the applicant chooses to have a lawyer carry out this procedure, a special mandate for "completion and withdrawal of the nationality certificate" will be required.
